Denton, the world’s largest law firm, in a press release issued today, announced its entry into Netherlands, by combining with a respected Dutch law firm Boekel. The partners of the two firms have approved the combination. The deal is expected to close in April 2017.

“This is a landmark achievement in furthering our strategy for Europe,” remarked Tomasz Dabrowski, Dentons’ Europe Chief Executive Officer. Also commenting on the deal, Wendela Raas, the Managing Partner of Boekel, said, “Our clients will continue to receive the same personalized and practical advice they have come to expect from Boekel, while at the same time benefitting from Dentons’ unmatched global reach.” With its entry into the sixth largest economy in Europe, Denton has recorded a significant milestone in the execution of its strategy to solidify its footprints in the European legal market.

Founded in 1957, Boekel employs approximately 70 lawyers, out of which 16 are partners. Boekel is a full service business law firm with a particular focus on corporate, real estate, and litigation.
